As a young child, Alice's favorite pastime was drawing and anything related to art. As an adult, she pursued a doctorate in education and retired from the position of Director of Title I for the Indiana Department of Education.

Alice is now revisiting her passion. She hopes that her use of bold vibrant colors will "shout" and set her apart from other artists. As Alice finished a painting, she steps back to make sure the colors are "speaking" to her.
