John's first camera, a classic Argus C3 slide film camera, came from his then soon-to-be wife. Seven photo cameras and four video cameras later, he continues to gather images with his original camera. With no formal traiing, he strives to capture the essence of his varied subjects around the world while traveling with his family and the Wabash College Glee Club. When John is shooting in the midest of a group, he like to shoot quickly so he can stay in touch the the people.​
