Ellie is a Hoosier, born in South Bend. She and her husband now reside in Crawfordsville.  Art was on hold while they raised two sons, and she now has the pleasure of teaching her grandchildren how to express their own artistic nature.

As an abstract artist, she uses wire, paint, ink, wood, and other materials to create and engage the imagination. Abstract art is her passion because it has no right or wrong by expressing emotions and responses.  Ellies process of creating art is as rewarding to her as the finished project.
